Nine valve families off one catalogue.
Isolation, regulation, non-return and pipeline protection — which means a whole line can be specified in one metallurgy and one class family instead of stitched together from four suppliers.

Butterfly Valves
Concentric, high-performance and triple-offset butterfly valves from DN40 to DN1200 — offered across the full range of disc materials, from ductile iron to super duplex and nickel aluminium bronze.

Dual Plate & Single Plate Wafer Check Valves
Wafer-type non-return valves that shut on flow reversal before the column can build momentum — dual plate to DN1200 and single-plate wafer to DN600, in cast iron through duplex and aluminium bronze.

Y-Type Strainers
In-line Y strainers from DN25 to DN400 in cast iron through CF3M — the cheapest insurance you can fit upstream of a pump, control valve or heat exchanger.

Ball Valves
Quarter-turn ball valves from DN15 to DN300 at #150 and #300 — screwed, socket-weld or flanged, in cast iron through DUPLEX and aluminium bronze.

Knife Gate Valves
Sharpened-edge gate valves that shear through slurry, pulp stock, sludge and solids-laden flow — DN50 to DN1200, wafer, lugged or flanged.

Gate Valves
Full-bore isolation from DN15 to DN1200 across the whole class range to #2500, flanged or buttweld, in carbon steel through super duplex.

Globe Valves
The valve to specify when the line needs regulating rather than isolating — DN15 to DN600 across #150 to #2500, flanged or buttweld.

Swing Check Valves
Full-bore swing-disc non-return valves from DN15 to DN1000, across #150 to #2500, flanged or buttweld — for lines where minimum pressure drop matters most.

Sluice Valves
Waterworks-pattern gate valves to IS 210 Gr FG 200 and WCB, DN50 to DN1200 at PN1.0 and PN1.6 — the standard isolation valve on municipal water and wastewater networks.
Isolate, regulate, or stop reverse flow — pick the valve for the job it actually has.
Most valve failures we’re called out to aren’t manufacturing defects. They’re a valve doing a job it was never designed for — a gate valve parked half-shut to throttle a line, a ball valve used to trim flow, a check valve sized to the pipe instead of to the flow and left fluttering against its stop until the hinge pin gives up.
So the first question we ask isn’t the size. It’s what the valve has to do. Isolation valves — ball, gate, butterfly, knife gate, sluice — belong fully open or fully closed. Globe valves are the family built to sit part-open and regulate. Check valves are sized on flow, not diameter, so normal running holds the disc hard against its stop. Strainers are specified by what’s downstream, not by the line.
Only after that do pressure class, temperature and fluid drive the body and trim metallurgy, and the operating regime drives the choice between lever, gearbox and actuator. Send us the line size, class, fluid, temperature and what sits downstream, and we’ll specify against it — then confirm the model against the ALLSEN catalogue before we quote.
Pneumatic, scotch yoke and electric — mounted and tested.
Quarter-turn and multi-turn actuation across the range, supplied as a single bench-tested assembly.
Rack & pinion pneumatic
Extruded aluminium body, tested to 2 million cycles, IP67, maximum torque 2100 Nm. The standard actuator for quarter-turn valves on plant air.
Vane type pneumatic
Patented spring-less design that replaces spring-return actuators for fail-safe duty. Eight models to 46,000 in-lb at 80 psi, −20 °C to 80 °C, AWWA C541 compliant, 2 year / 2 million cycle warranty.
Scotch yoke
Carbon steel scotch-yoke mechanism for severe service in chemical, petrochemical and offshore installations. IP67, maximum torque up to 250,000 Nm.
Electric
50–6000 Nm, AC 24/220/380 V or DC 12/24/48 V (±10%), −25 °C to 70 °C (−40 °C optional), IP67 standard with IP68 optional (15 m / 72 hr), on/off and modulating duty.
Four things every valve order gets.
Specified, not picked
Every quote starts from line size, pressure class, fluid, temperature and what's downstream. We specify body, seat and trim against that — then confirm the model against the ALLSEN catalogue before quoting.
Quoted with the system
We've supplied pumping systems since 1949, so valves are quoted as part of the discharge package — check valve sized against the actual pump duty point, not against the pipe stamp.
Actuators mounted and tested
Automated valves ship as one bench-tested assembly with the actuator fitted, rather than as loose components for your site team to marry up on a scaffold.
One team for rotating and static
Pumps, blowers and valves from the same supplier across Delhi NCR, with installation and commissioning available on a chargeable basis and AMC bundled under one contract.
Frequently asked questions
Which valves does Trading Engineers supply?
The full ALLSEN range: butterfly valves (concentric, high-performance and triple-offset), dual plate and single plate wafer check valves, ball valves, knife gate valves, gate valves, globe valves, swing check valves, sluice valves and Y-type strainers. Sizes run from DN15 to DN1200 and pressure ratings from PN4 up to ASME #2500, depending on the valve family.
How do I choose between a gate, ball, butterfly and globe valve?
Start with what the valve is for. To isolate: ball valves for fast, positive small-to-medium-bore shutoff; gate valves for full-bore isolation at high class and large size; butterfly valves where a compact face-to-face and light weight matter at large diameter. To regulate: globe valves — they are the only family here designed to sit part-open indefinitely. To stop reverse flow: dual plate or wafer check valves on pump discharge, swing check where minimum pressure drop matters. For flows carrying solids, a knife gate valve.
What is the difference between a sluice valve and a gate valve?
Functionally they're the same wedge-gate design. 'Sluice valve' is the waterworks convention: grey iron to IS 210 Gr FG 200, flanged, PN1.0 or PN1.6, dimensioned for buried chamber installation on water and wastewater networks. The general-purpose gate valve range goes far higher — #150 through #2500 — with a much wider metallurgy spread for process, power and hydrocarbon service.
Can you supply valves in stainless, duplex or aluminium bronze?
Yes. Depending on the family, bodies and trim are offered in cast and ductile iron, WCB carbon steel, CF8 / CF8M / CF3 / CF3M stainless grades, ASTM A890 Gr. 4A and 5A duplex and super duplex, nickel aluminium bronze and aluminium alloys. For seawater, desalination and high-chloride duty we normally specify duplex or aluminium bronze rather than standard stainless.
Do you supply actuated valves?
Yes — rack-and-pinion and vane-type pneumatic actuators, scotch yoke actuators for severe service up to 250,000 Nm, and electric actuators from 50 to 6000 Nm in on/off and modulating duty. Valves are supplied with the actuator mounted and bench-tested as a single assembly.
Do you supply valves in Delhi NCR?
Yes. Trading Engineers works out of Mangolpuri, G.B. Road and Faridabad, covering Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Manesar and Faridabad. Valves are usually quoted alongside the pumps and blowers on the same package, and installation is available on a chargeable basis.
Can valves be quoted with your pump and blower packages?
That's how we prefer to do it. When the check valve, isolation valves and strainer are quoted against the actual pump duty point, the check valve gets sized on flow rather than on pipe diameter and the strainer screen gets matched to what's downstream — which is where most in-service valve problems start.
Send us your valve schedule.
Line size, pressure class, fluid and temperature — we'll specify body, seat and trim and quote it with the actuator.
