Pump control

Upgrade your pump control panel without replacing the pumps

Most pump failures announce themselves long before they happen — a dry run nobody logged, a motor drawing more current each month, a set cycling every ninety seconds because the pressure switch drifted. A conventional panel can't tell you any of it. We supply, install and commission the Titan Pump Controller on your existing pump sets across Delhi NCR.

  • Universal fitment
  • Dry-run protection
  • Installed & commissioned
  • AMC available
Why upgrade

What you get that a conventional panel can't give you

It replaces the starter and pressure switch in the panel you already have, and adds protection and monitoring that a contactor and a relay stack cannot.

Dry-run protection that actually works

Most dry-run trips rely on a single signal and either nuisance-trip or miss the event. This one cross-checks under-power against low suction pressure and loss of differential head before it acts.

You find out before the pump fails

Running hours, start counts, power draw and differential head are logged continuously. A motor drawing more current month on month, or a set short-cycling on a drifted pressure switch, shows up as a trend instead of a breakdown.

Full electrical protection built in

Single-phasing, phase unbalance, over and under voltage, over-current and locked rotor — handled by the controller rather than by a separate relay stack in the panel.

Start, stop and check it from your phone

Live status, alerts and remote start/stop through the app, over the site WiFi or Ethernet. Useful when the pump room is three floors down and nobody wants to go and look.

Fits your existing pumps

It replaces the starter and pressure switch in the panel you already have. Universal fitment — it isn't tied to any pump make or model.

Installed in a normal maintenance window

A single-pump changeover is typically done within a working day, including sensor fitting, wiring and commissioning.

What we do

Supplied, installed, commissioned and serviced by us

Tech OVN builds it. We survey the site, fit it, prove it works on your duty point, and look after it afterwards.

Site survey

We look at the existing panel, the starter type, the motor rating and the pipework before quoting — so what arrives on site actually fits.

Supply and installation

Controller, pressure sensors, glands and wiring supplied and fitted by our own electricians. No coordination between three vendors.

Commissioning and handover

Sensor ranges set to your duty point, protection thresholds configured, dry-run logic proven on site, and your team shown how to use the app before we leave.

Service and AMC

Annual maintenance contracts including sensor checks and recalibration. Spare sensors and controllers held locally.

Where it fits

Typical installations

General service pumping duties in commercial and residential buildings.

  • Hydro-pneumatic and booster sets
  • Overhead tank transfer pumps
  • Sump and dewatering pumps
  • Cooling tower and condenser water pumps
  • Process and utility transfer duties
  • Duty-standby pump pairs

Not intended for fire pump installations — those carry their own statutory requirements. See our fire pump packages instead.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my existing pumps?

Yes — fitment is universal rather than tied to a particular pump make. What matters is the electrical envelope, not the badge on the pump: it suits single-phase and three-phase sets, 57.7 V to 277 V per phase, with direct connection up to 100 A or CT-operated above that. If you tell us the motor rating and starter type we will confirm the fit before quoting.

Is this for fire pumps?

No. The Titan Pump Controller is intended for general service pumping — booster sets, transfer pumps, sump and tank duties. Fire pump installations are governed by their own statutory requirements and are a separate conversation; talk to us about fire pump packages instead.

Do you install it, or do I need my own electrician?

We install. Our own electricians carry out the panel work, fit the pressure sensors and commission the controller. Supply-only is available if you have a contractor you prefer to use, but most customers take supply-and-fit because sensor placement and threshold setting are where these installations go wrong.

How long does installation take, and does the pump have to stop?

A single-pump changeover is typically completed within a working day. The pump does need to be off while the panel work is done, so we schedule it into a normal maintenance window. For buildings that cannot lose supply we work around a duty-standby changeover so one pump stays available.

What happens if a sensor fails after installation?

Pressure sensors are a wearing item and we hold spares locally. Replacement is a short visit — swap the sensor, re-enter the range, verify the reading. Sensor checks and recalibration are included in our annual maintenance contracts.

Can it talk to our building management system?

Yes. It speaks Modbus RTU over RS485 and Modbus TCP over Ethernet, so it drops into an existing BMS, SCADA or PLC without a gateway. Your BMS integrator can read live values and status directly.

Who manufactures it?

The Titan Pump Controller is designed and manufactured in India by Tech OVN, our sister company within the OVN Engineers group. Trading Engineers supplies, installs, commissions and services it.
